In an article appearing in the The Montclair Times, actor and Big Stone Gap leading man Patrick Wilson describes his experience shooting the film as phenomenal.

The Montclair actor also spoke optimistically about coming to next year’s Montclair Film Festival with more than just friends. “Big Stone Gap,” a film set in his father and grandfather’s native part of Virginia is finally in production after 10 years. Wilson said that, selfishly, he was excited that the film’s long preproduction allowed him to age into the role of Jack MacChesney. Co-starring (Dagmara) Domincyzk, Ashley Judd and Whoopi Goldberg, Wilson said that is looking forward for the film to come out.

“It was a phenomenal experience,” Wilson said.
